Grahame Marshall

After graduating from Durham University with a BSc Honours Degree in chemistry, Grahame commenced training for his professional examinations in London. Three years later he came to Leicester to enjoy the wider experience that this practice still offers.

Grahame has a wide engineering experience including fluid and general mechanics, automobile braking systems and avionics. He also has significant experience in licensing.

Grahame has prosecuted and defended disputes in the Patents County Court and before the European Patent Office, where he has had considerable success. Because of his experience, Grahame was awarded one of the UK’s first Patent Litigator Certificates, which allowed him to conduct intellectual property litigation in the High Court, and he also obtained a Master of Laws degree in Intellectual Property Litigation.

Grahame was for many years been an active member of Council for FICPI-UK.

Following his retirement from the partnership in 2011, Grahame is able to devote more time to horse riding and to the small farm that he owns. However, he continues to act as a consultant to the firm in relation to some cases of his existing clients and other cases in which his experience will be particularly beneficial.
