Catherine Slater
Catherine graduated from De Montfort University in 1998 with an LLB (Hons) degree in Law, following which she obtained a Diploma in Legal Practice from Nottingham Law School. Catherine then trained as a solicitor, qualifying in 2002. Upon qualification, she specialised in commercial litigation, working for one of the largest law firms in the Midlands.
In Spring 2006, Catherine joined Serjeants in order to pursue her interest in Intellectual Property law. She is currently undertaking further study to achieve a second professional qualification as a Trade Mark Attorney.
Catherine deals with all aspects of trade mark, design and copyright work including enforcement of those (and patent) rights through the court system.
Outside work Catherine enjoys a good book and is learning to play the piano.
